An Ice Cream Fantasy
Source: Marley Floors
Marley Eclipse has been recently been specified for a new exciting franchise in the United States, with around 325 square metres being installed in each store. Ricky's Candy Cones & Chaos is a new franchise which will expand across the USA and the plan is to have 400 operational stores. These will all be located in shopping centres and although each will be a slightly different shape the overall décor will be the same.
If you want Candy, then Ricky's Candy Cones and Chaos is the place to go. They sell over 150 different kinds of candy which is scooped out of bins into small bags. The décor has been designed to appeal to the young and the young at heart, with a special Birthday Room, where the partygoers can build their own ice cream sundaes, play games etc. Besides candy and ice creams the stores also sell logo T shirts and stuffed animals.
The first store opened at the beginning of the summer in Summit, New Jersey and the main focal store has just opened in Princeton, New Jersey. The bright attractive colours from the Eclipse range have been selected to blend with the exciting appeal of the décor.
The concept was developed for the owners by the designer of the famous FAO Schwartz toy store.
The Architect, Ray Rola of Philadelphia, who was commissioned to plan the stores, said "I chose the Eclipse range as the bright attractive colour palette blended in with the appealing design envisaged for the stores and it would perform well in a busy shop environment".
